USAID CDCS Mid Course Stocktaking: What We've Learned So Far & How To Get Started

Description

CDCS mid-course stocktaking has emerged as one approach to assessing ongoing strategy and program implementation, particularly in light of contextual changes and emerging lessons. It provides an opportunity for the mission to periodically -- and intentionally -- revalidate its strategic approach, revisit core assumptions, and adapt implementation as needed.

During this webinar, Kosovo Mission Director James Hope and Bangladesh Deputy Program Officer Christean Cole shared their experiences of conducting a CDCS mid-course stocktaking exercise. Elisa Walton and Lauren Leigh Hinthorne from PPL also provided some pointers on how to get started as well as how to tailor the stocktaking effort to the mission’s needs. Participants had an opportunity to ask questions, share their experiences, and receive guidance in an interactive setting.
