KRT Model Welcome to Post Conversations

Description

This resource is part of the Knowledge Retention and Transfer (KRT) Toolkit. The purpose of this resource is to facilitate knowledge transfer and reduce operational gaps, it is recommended that two 1:1 meetings (Video/Telephone) with the outgoing staff and their successor take place (if possible).

  • Meeting 1: Introductory meeting and sharing of key information.
  • Meeting 2: Discuss the Handover Memo. After arriving to Post the incoming staff can schedule a conversation with the previous person who held the position or the team/supervisor.

This resource is intended for use by USAID staff, implementing partners, and development professionals.
