The community leaders not able to read and write is a major concern to impart knowledge.

The purpose was to know how better the initiative served as compared to earlier initiative.

What Were The Most Important Lessons Learned About The Assessment Process?: 

Focussed group discussion as well as self reflection and on field monitoring were highly useful.

What Would You Do Differently Next Time?: 

Next time we would give emphasis to on field monitoring more.

Describe The KM Initiative: 

It was on agricultural development context. The objective was to involve the community and community based organization to in livelihood planning, implementation and mointoring for SRI programme. 

What Advice Would You Give To Others Based On Your Experience?: 

Involving community in planning, implementation and monitoring would give better result in development initiative.

The challenge was sponsored by USAID's Knowledge-Driven Microenterprise Development project, as a key part of the project’s Assessing & Learning component, which sought to improve the understanding of how investing in learning can increase and extend the overall impact of USAID's development efforts.
