Building a Women's Empowerment Strategy and Coalition through Co-creation in Egypt
Description
USAID/Egypt's ODG and OAA offices designed and facilitated a co-creation process in May/June 2021 in order to develop a more effective approach to women's empowerment in Egypt. The Mission identified a need to collaborate more deeply with a broader array of national and international stakeholders to fill gaps in internal knowledge, strengthen the quality of applications for funding and create a culture of learning and openly sharing solutions. While the co-creation workshop lasted for four days, the process initiated a much longer period of forming coalitions of diverse stakeholders vested in the same goal.
