ARMED CONFLICT AND VIOLENCE LEARNING AGENDA: 2021–2023

Published
Description

The Center for Conflict and Violence Prevention (CVP) in the Bureau for Conflict Prevention and Stabilization
(CPS) assists USAID Missions to design and deliver evidence-based conflict mitigation, violence prevention,
and peacebuilding interventions. CPS/CVP’s Armed Conflict and Violence (AC&V) Prevention Learning Agenda
will enable USAID to identify:
✔ The types of conflict and violence that impact USAID’s development outcomes;
✔ The similarities and differences in USAID’s work to prevent and mitigate AC&V across contexts;
✔ The evidence of what works;
✔ How USAID conflict and violence prevention programs and policies align with the evidence; and
✔ Future research to address knowledge gaps.
