Throughout the 2017 Global Innovation Week, you’ll explore how the best ideas, innovations, and technologies are changing the way the U.S. Government, business and philanthropy work together. Leading innovators, industry experts, researchers, and scientists will showcase the latest thinking around innovation in government, global health and international development.

SEPTEMBER 28: Evidence Day

Showcasing what works in development innovation.

Using innovation to achieve efficient and impactful development outcomes requires pairing smart risks with evidence-based investment. “Evidence and Innovation” Day will kick off Global Innovation Week on Thursday, September 28, and will work to showcase promising innovations that prove their impact, cost-effectiveness and potential to scale. It will also feature new approaches to generating and utilizing results to increase development impact.

SEPTEMBER 29: Scale to Impact Day

Solving a difficult problem or starting a business takes a lot more than a bright idea. “Scale to Impact” Day will focus on what comes next. It will highlight the challenges innovators face and how to overcome these barriers. And, it will feature insights from innovators that have scaled-up successfully and increased their impact. Scale to Impact Day will take place on Friday, September 29.
