How to Design and Deliver Meaningful Knowledge Management Events

On Tuesday, May 23, the Global Health Knowledge Collaborative (GHKC) hosted a webinar titled How to Design and Deliver Meaningful Knowledge Management Events. The webinar was recorded and is available for anyone who wasn't able to participate.

Speakers discussed the process of planning, promoting, delivering, and documenting a number of KM events. They discussed KM tools and approaches used during the events and there will be time after the presentations to ask questions and share your experiences.

  • Becca Simon from the USAID Knowledge for Health (K4Health) project and GHKC discussed how to successfully host a KM event for a consortium and how to integrate partner organizations, using the April 2013 Global Health Knowledge Management Share Fair as an example.
  • Allison Watts from the USAID Knowledge Services Center discussed how to plan and execute a KM event for a large organization, using the February 2013 USAID KM Expo as an example.
  • Lani Marquez from URC-CHS and the USAID Applying Science to Strengthen and Improve Systems (ASSIST) Project presented Using KM Concepts to Improve Learning in Technical Events.
