The QED Group, LLC, (QED) through its subcontract to Insight Systems Corporation (Insight) under the United States Agency for International Development-funded contract Feed the Future Knowledge-Driven Agricultural Development Project (KDAD) is seeking expressions of interest for the program entitled “Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) and Feed the Future.” The sum of the proposed activity is not to exceed the amount of $100,000 beyond a one-year period.

To document learning, share knowledge, and build the capacity of partners and the Agency around CLA, USAID’s Bureau for Policy, Planning, and Learning (PPL) and Bureau for Food Security (BFS) seek to create a learning network of Feed the Future implementing partners who want to improve their CLA capacity. USAID/PPL and USAID/BFS will award 3-5 competitive grants via the Feed the Future Knowledge-Driven Agricultural Development (KDAD) project that will form a learning network to meet the following objectives:

  • Generate data, information, and examples about the current state of learning within Feed the Future activities that can inform USAID’s planning efforts.
  • Build capacity among implementing partners for facilitating CLA approaches in Feed the Future programs.
  • Develop knowledge product(s) in collaboration with implementing partners in the learning network to advance the practice of CLA in FTF and agriculture programs.
  • Identify champions within the implementing partner community to expand the application of and catalyze learning about the CLA approach and its benefits for Feed the Future programs.
