Change is constant for USAID. The Agency works in dynamic contexts with a variety of partners across numerous sectors. As contexts change and new information arises regarding the progress of activities, it is imperative that USAID and its partners practice adaptive management, as part of a larger Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting approach, and other flexible procurement approaches.
Towards that end, USAID seeks to build flexibility into its grants and contracts to allow partners to learn and adapt to pursue opportunities or address challenges that arise throughout implementation.
